FAQs

Q: How far in advance should I book a wedding photographer?
A: As soon as possible! When you find a photographer that fits your preferred style, book them before it's too late.

Q: What is your preferred style of photography?
A: Fine Art & Photojournalism. The use of natural light to create warm tones is always our priority.

Q: When photographing a wedding, do you hire a second photographer?
A: YES! Always! Usually my husband, Eric (who has an incredible eye) photographs weddings with me, but occasionally I'll have a different artist work with me.

Q: What should I/we wear for a lifestyle  or engagement session?
A: Keep clothing simple, and comfortable. Try avoiding logos or busy patterns, but textures and accessorizing is encouraged! In group photos, color coordinating (but not completely matching) is always more pleasing to the eye. Wear clothes that represent you and who you are. We offer unlimited wardrobe changes to encourage you to mix things up! Click here for some wardrobe inspiration...

Q: What should we bring to our lifestyle session?
A: Mix up your lifestyle portrait session with various wardrobe changes, a drink (liquid courage if you wish), favorite quilt, etc. It is wise to be sure your little one has been fed and had a nap before hand, for a more comfortable and positive experience.

Q: How long does the photo shoot session last?
A: Typically Lifestyle Sessions are 1-2 hours and Weddings range from 8-10 hours

Q: How do we book you?
A: Simply click on the "Contact Us" tab above and provide: name, email, and a summary of what interests you!

Q: When will I receive my photos?
A: Approximately 3-4 weeks after your session (weddings usually 6-8 weeks depending on the time of year).

Q: What Cameras do you use?
A: Canon 5D Mark III  & Canon 5D Mark IV with various lenses

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Cash, Check, PalPal or Venmo

Q: Do you shoot Destination Weddings?
A: Absolutely! We LOVE to travel!

Q: Are there any additional charges for me to receive my photos?
A: Nope! A one-time investment for your digital images is all that is required. You are given a link to a digital online gallery where you may liberally download your images. We do offer the option to have your images printed through a professional lab, which you can purchase straight from your online gallery.

Q: Can't I just have my Photos Printed at Walmart, Target, Walgreens, etc?
A: Technically... yes, but we strongly discourage it! Walk-In Labs typically do not have the means to print your images as you see them 'on screen', leaving them with a red or green hue.

Q: Where will the photos be taken? Do you have a studio?
A: I am a an on-site natural light photographer. We do not have a studio.

Q: How will my photos be delivered?
A: We provide a professional online gallery for you to download your images (included in the portrait session investment) with the option to additionally invest in professionally printed images.
